Hybrid Mud Polymer System for Northpole Bore Pile Project in Bangkok
We developed a customized hybrid drilling fluid system for a client, tailored for the successful construction of over 1000 bore piles at a new development site in North Bangkok. Dealing with Bangkok's diverse soil composition, which includes reactive clay and sand, presented us with unique challenges.
In order to achieve optimal stabilization, prevent shale swelling, and attain the desired viscosity, it was crucial to employ a high-polymer-load system featuring BMS 1000. However, we also recognized the significance of maintaining controlled filtrate loss properties. To strike the right balance and create a thin yet robust filter cake, we introduced a specialized bentonite from our TIXOBENT range. The project was completed successfully.
